In my dreams, I see humankind…
with no discrimination.
treating all living with care and concern.
displaying no violence.
living reasonably and logically.
promoting peace.
In my dreams, is sadly the only place where I can find these qualities consistently.

Unfortunately, only in our dreams do we find peace! Interesting that you originally posted this piece in 2018 and the world chaos is ongoing. I find several of my poems written several years back are applicable to current times. It seems with all our advancements to supposedly help mankind, we still are at a standstill regarding goodwill for our fellow man. End of rant!

It does seem like a utopian dream! If only we were more accepting and kind to each other, the world be a utopian reality.
