the sun shines
mondays are not the only time
to be frustrated about waking up
holidays are not the only time
to enjoy family and friends
christmas is not the only time
to give presents and thanks
40 hours is not the only time
you should labor and sweat
babies being born is not the only time
new life should spring forth
weddings are not the only time
it becomes fashionable to love
new years is not the only time
to do different
your whole life is the only time
to do it your way

evil is the wicked intention to do harm
not a devil’s creation
but a man-made decision
brain chemicals, poor choices, shitty upbringing
influences accepted willingly
or thrust upon us unwillingly or unknowingly
it all impacts
the reality is we’re all capable of doing the right things
many choose to
some decide not
and some neglect to stay on the path of faultless behavior
drugs, alcohol, and sex reduce our capacity for intentionality
choose YOU living your best life
