Not for some time I fear, there’s no will to deal with the actual problem, just a lot of court and backroom stuff. I think the victims are being re-victimised across the world by all of this.
It’s a different “challenge” (Willow Poetry) so I would have to go through the steps to post on my blog, ping back to hers, etc. Too many other things going on right now.
Well, hopefully not desensitized as long as the public continues to put the pressure on. But I’ve heard a few comments from high officials that leave me sickened at their lack of compassion.
I would agree. This image suggested the actual church portrayed had a shocked expression when it realized more detrimental information was constantly coming. Sort of the “conscience” that it may have had at some time, not the current administration in the games they’ve played with the priest shuffling and lack of reporting or taking ownership of creating the problem.
