drudgery for the dollar
we’re really not free
sleepy time over
showering away the stink
on to a new day
Relationships. Kids.
People. Jobs. Exercise. Life.
It’s all daily work.
Get used to it.
Some days it’s all we can do to stay on track.
Your head says “Just keep plodding forward, eyes front and feet moving.”
It’s about getting to the end of the day, and to rest.
We’re longing for a collapse ushering us into a night producing our revival.
