Redux
there’s always something
out of whack
emotional
physical
mental
or external
and we must
adapt to it
lest we succumb
it’s a waiting game
until the next thing
goes wrong
throwing us
out of kilter again
balance is really
wobbling minimally
while feeling
some joy
and less pain

As an experienced plate spinner, this resonates. We adapt and keep spinning!

Is that the new word for being human or do you mean for real an experienced plate spinner? So cool! And you’re right, you have to adapt/adjust and keep going!

Yes, balance is a tricky thing. It doesn’t take much to make us teeter.

Absolutely, things are never absolutely perfect. There’s always going to be challenges in life. It’s all about how we choose to handle them and whether we choose to give up or keep fighting.

I feel like this captures such a grounded truth, Susi—there’s strength in how calmly you lay out the constant shifting we endure. To me, it reads like resilience in motion.
Much love,
David

I appreciate that very much, David! My goal is always to educate, and usually from a place of peace. Mind you, I’m not always successful, as I can (being human) let my emotions get the best of me. But what you said “resilience in motion” struck a chord in me, and I thank you for it! <3
