I breathe deeply, sitting in a cross-legged pose, trying to let go of all the agitation I feel. It’s hard, but I continue. As the peace starts to enter my consciousness, I begin to feel free in my body. The seeds of tranquility find fertile ground within as the space surrounding me exudes lightness. The stream in the background begs me to listen to its calming trickles over the rocks and the roots in the riverbed. It is a sweet melody of calm. A vision begins to speak to me loudly—Get off your butt NOW! You have things to do!

Serenity is a rare pleasure these days.
