SenHai Saturday # 7

Peter Thomas – Unsplash.com

Here is this week’s image to get your creative juices flowing!

This image depicts a woman walking along a path carved out in a bamboo forest in Japan.

Please create one senryu and one haiku to accompany this image prompt. Remember that a traditional haiku describes nature or a season, while a senryu focuses on human nature and emotions.

Then, comment with the link to your post in the comments below OR pingback to this post on your post. Please only do one or the other, as it gets confusing in the comments if we have a link, a pingback, and the actual piece there! Appreciate it!

Here is a wrap-up of last week’s prompt. Thank you everyone for your well-written poems.

lapping languidly with love
you, a distant shore

    1. No worries! Just remember the pingback will show up right away, but when you comment, it won’t show up right away because I have to approve it. I do this for all comments because of the “problematic” people who spam or are rude. That’s the delay.
