I think there are a lot of people doing something about it, it’s just we only get to hear the catastrophic effects rather than what is being done about it. Just gotta look, it’s there.
Well, considering the bee population is still declining, yes. But I would argue, they would have been gone years ago, had not some people stepped up. The scientists still don’t know to an exact science why the populations are declining, but there are many people who are adding to them by starting new colonies, changing to more natural attractions for bees, and various other positive practices. So, I guess I’d say, I’m still hopeful they will recover. Thanks for reading, Jaye and Anita!
Absolutely! My husband and I are reconsidering making our front lawn into a wild flower meadow. He’s tired of mowing and I want to make it beautiful. And of course do our part.
We made a wildflower meadow by accident last year. Our garden is long and thin, and the lower part started to look wild, so I let it do it!
Saves on mowing and the bees and butterflies loved it… 🌼🌸🍂
