the older maiden blushed from stress
boldly out of character thought her friend
normally prim and proper
the sight of the bludgeoned young man
had her noticeably agitated
oh my, what has happened here? whatever should we do?
her companion never knew of the evil within her
the messenger probably wished he did
delivering a message she didn’t want to hear
left him cold on the ground
