Disinclined

i recall the ravenous embraces
whispered desires
and the urgency in his touch
feel good chemicals in our brains
driving us mad with lust

slowly the years passed
the temperature changed
opportunities for unity
became scarce

am i not lovable
yearned for or wanted anymore
this lack of action would seem so
