with eyes closed
my other senses experience
what this environment has to offer
breathing in freshness
i exhale a welcome release
hearing nature’s soft tones
they immerse me further still
tasting salt in the wind
it invites me to indulge more
touching the silkiness of the sand
another connection is found
i am restored
