My grandparents had a home on Little Round Bay, just in on the Severn River from Annapolis. My sisters and I endured a few summers there, in which we were forced by our cruel grandmother to catch those blues off the end of her dock. As the end of summer neared, we were forced to boil and eat (and share) the dozens of legal crabs that we’d kept in in that blue plastic boat next to the dock. Life was hard.
