Inspired by What do you see #207
finger-like reach
grasping
holding on
polluting our existence
humanoids
the top of the food chain
decided a long time ago
to dominate all
in one way or another
they’ll be the death of us
choke the life right out of us
in every way possible
muddy our air
stain our water
wreak havoc on our land
and here we thought only aliens were the threat

Humans can be poisoning indeed

Indeed! All we can do is hope they correct course soon. Thanks, Sabina!

Who needs aliens when humans are already bent on destroying our planet. Thanks Susi for joining in with this powerful poem.

So true – we often focus on the absurd and ignore the possible and probable!

hmm… we have done a pretty good job of wrecking the planet. At some point nature will fight back, and I do not think we will be winning that battle.
