Taking My Annual Leave :)

Dear followers and readers!

Last September was my hiatus; this year, it’s August. :) Every time I’ve taken off for a month, it has done me a world of good. This year is no exception. My last post, until September 1, will be tomorrow.

During the month of August, I will not be posting to my blog at all, nor will I be reading any of the blogs I follow, with the exception of catching up on the last of the posts from July I haven’t read yet. lol I’m forever trying to catch up! I will also give social media a rest. I’ve found this has done so much for me every year. What I will do is catch up on reading my paperbacks (collecting dust), read my Kindle backlog (leaving reviews where appropriate), and start to immerse myself in The Short of It Submissions. So far, I’m VERY pleased with the response from previous poets featured as well as new ones who have chosen to participate. You are all such a talented bunch! I will be forever happy about starting The Short of It! You are all such a wonderful addition to my world! Don’t forget, I am only accepting the first 52 feature-worthy submissions for next year’s Friday posts, so get your work in as quickly as you can before the submission cycle closes!

Should there be any comments to I Write Her during my absence, they will be addressed when I return. See you again September 1! <3
