Inspired by Eugenia’s Weekly Prompt – Peace & Reena’s Exploration Challenge #201

being a stranger in a very strange land
looking for better opportunities, peace
and respite from the atrocities of war
would mean a continued fight against another’s bigotry
it hurts this humanist’s heart

Succinct and to the point – a very topically appropriate poem. I’m not sure what the prompts are but this one is a keeper!

Thank you, Val! Usually the prompts are the italicized and bolded words or an image. Glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
