Inspired by Moonwashed Weekly Prompt – Mottled Sky Page &
Reena’s Xploration Challenge #304
time is running out for those
in the forefront
of the mottled sky page of war
bullets, bombs, and enemies
surround the innocent
and the dead
as the ink
will not dry
on the peace treaty
waiting to be signed for many lifetimes
erasing all separateness
silence falls, nothing changes
So true, Susi. Nothing will change till they learn to coexist.

Unfortunately, nothing changes for the better, only goes from bad to worse.

What will it take for us to course correct? I’m stumped.

Someone with enough wisdom, political acumen and will to make things better. But who will that be.
