time to rise and shine

Exhaustion
problems torch my soul
miles to go before i sleep
i reach my limit
Elisha Ager
Tired
Lacking energy,
Passion drops like the climate,
A long slog ahead.
Boreas
Cold seeps into bones,
I ponder the sweeping wind,
On his trip up north.
Persevere
Shimmering glass stars,
Frost shatters into fragments,
The illusion lifts.
Vibrance
A monochrome world,
White fields below black heavens,
But, orange hues dawn.
Cozy
There, in the darkness,
Bright warmth in a log cabin,
Joy will rise again.
Rain
Crystals on windows,
Pitter patter, the drops laugh,
I will sit and read.

Torpid
like a sloth i feel
a human hibernating
the world exhausting
drama here and everywhere
oh calgon take me away
**Only some people will get the last line. I’m dating myself. ;)
Dog Day Afternoon

My energy is sapped below the reserve.
Not sure where the strength should come from now.
It’s like pulling it out of thin air.
Slothing

Loggy

the only thing
keeping me connected
to this day
is an obligation
in seeing it thru
Weary

Life
took a
toll today,
pushing me hard.
Intense emotions wore me down again.
