That Look

softly longing for connection
may they reach for her
whether mellow or distraught

Beaming Intent

can you feel it

good juju, positive vibes
and tender pleas for all the best being sent

i take on your pain
and am responding with the hope
that you are released from it

quickly dissipating
a return to normal

please, let the relief begin

All
humans
fail to reach
perfection in
life. They epitomize the opposite.
Not in a “we’re all sinners” kind of way.
It’s more like we’re
flawed because
we are
dumb.

We’re
stupid
because we
don’t care or don’t
want to understand the frailty of life.
Perfection comes from lifting up all that
which is broken,
providing
help and
love.

Empty Where Hearts Reside

Inspired by Sadje’s What do you see #123

traitors have no heart
oppressing others at will
resistance will win

NOTE: My gut and my head tell me that good will triumph. Our world is reaching a tipping point where the destructiveness is being called out and pushed back on. I do hope I’m correct.

Reblog – Empathic by Doree

Empathy, sympathy, concern, it’s what makes us humane.

I do not know

No

I do not know your pain

I feel it close to my heart

But

I do not know your pain

~~~
I’ve felt
Shrill sheets of energy
Shredding through my being
~~~

Back and forth

Back and forth

~~~
Until I couldn’t anymore
~~~

I do not know your pain

But I feel it just the same

And for what it’s worth

It must be terrible

Reblog – That Could Be Me by Angelique Rose

Sympathy begins when you realize it “could be you”, may it translate to empathy always.

NeverSilenceTheMadness's avatarNever Silence the Madness

I saw her scars

Evidence of a life

Where great just wasn’t good enough

Where She was always just one nip away from perfect

One tuck away from perfection

One stitch away from happiness

I saw her eyes of desperation

As she picked at things I could not see

Although I was happy to oblige

I wondered where in her life she was during each scar

I wondered about the painful recovery

I wondered about the broken heart

Or the healed one

I wondered if she was finally close to happy

I felt sadness for her

But only because that could be me

One nip away from happiness

One tuck away from perfection

One stitch away from perfect

My heart broke for her

But only because that could be me

I’m Here For You

Feeling The Pain

Untitled

empathy is like a curse
hurting and loving
at the same time
the sounds of cruelty
sing an ugly song
the images scorch my eyes
my strength within
subsides
as my body succumbs to emotions
pain is magnified
as the suffering continues
unkind people
saying one thing
doing another
nothing but liars
abuse of all forms
killing innocence
harming possible futures
the evil sleep well
recounting their deeds
the sufferers of their wickedness do not
grieving with the harmed
wrap them in my being
losing respect and hope for this world
and aching for the vulnerable
