cruel people and life will always
bring us incredible challenges
trying to prevent us from thriving
even just surviving sometimes

people must stand up for what they believe in
each individual has to have the courage
the passion, and the knowledge
of how to address what is wrong in this world

so when bad things happen
by evil people who exist
we can’t let ourselves be steamrolled by them
life is just too short, and there’s still much worth living for
