Here is this week’s image to get your creative juices flowing!

The image depicts a church in the desert, illuminated by lights at the front door and the Milky Way in the night sky. There are a few tall cacti on the sides of the church.

Please create one senryu and one haiku to accompany this image prompt. Remember that a traditional haiku typically describes nature or a season, while a senryu tends to focus on human nature and emotions.

      1. I wanted to from y the start but the A to Z challenge was very time consuming. Thanks for starting this new challenge. It will give me an opportunity to write syllabic poetry.
