I wanted to feel alluring tonight; however, my black roots showed negligence instead. Then, running into that spider web made me look ridiculous, and my heart flutter—romance wasn’t in the cards for me tonight.
Looking around the room, I swore I saw a ghost! Who invited Gary, and why would he come when I had so much dirt on him and held so many of his ruinous secrets?
Everything around me glitters, the walls and all the floors speckled with light from the beam on the glass disco ball. My head begins to spin; I feel destined to pass out.

Great use of the words, Susi!

Thing bode badly for Gary, by the sounds of it.

Perhaps she shouldn’t be drinking. Gary is a person she wants to avoid.

I don’t think she was, and she should definitely avoid Gary. He’s up to no good! 😉 Thanks for stopping by, Diana.
