Misguided

All the women in the circle began to spin; the wind speed picked up as the chant became more eerie, almost ghoulish. Their spell shook the crypt, cracking it open and revealing its secrets. The events this night would change things, and not for the better. Inside, buried under a thick layer of dust, was something even they couldn’t wrap their minds around. The scene played tricks on their senses. They knew what they witnessed was wicked; although dead for a millennium within this tomb, it would create chaos now that they had unleashed it. Evil had indeed deceived them.
