The story of Ebeona begins with rumbling thunder and particles of ice cast from the heavens, prompting the fair maidens to begin leaping from the high cliffs of Aeromoor. The people’s heartache was palpable, where once was bliss; now, the beings felt tragedy everywhere. It’s hard to imagine picking up the pieces of what had happened when the memory of paradise was so fresh in their minds. Nevertheless, their arms were heavy from defeat, their breath stale from the haunting scenery; they called upon Ebeona to be merciful, to end this strife, and begged she return their home to them.
