Moonwashed Weekly Prompt – Summertime Hues
The aliens had landed—they were friendly, thankfully! Our planet had barely survived WW3; only one-third of the global population survived the nuclear bombs set off around the Earth in 2056. They wanted peace in our world, they said, and they wanted to share their technology. Their proposal included bringing back the seasons again so that we could enjoy white snow, spring showers, wonderful summertime hues, and crisp fall days. They promised to clean up the oceans and lakes, restoring our water and air health. Who wouldn’t want that for Earth? Those of us left undoubtedly did. At what cost, though?

This was hopeful and scary at the same time–something you do well!

There is always a cost… and if it is hidden then it is usually not a good deal, at least for the ones getting the offer!
