The onset of screams start the clock; the day begins.
Teachers prepare, school bells ring.
First crushes smile and give first kisses.
No longer a teenager.
First drinks flow legally.
Thoughts of settling down.
Decisions to start new clocks.
Realizations that life is half over.
Efforts for a secure retirement continues.
Probably watching your loves leave the nest.
Bones start to creak, hair turning grey.
The drudgery of the daily grind coming to an end.
Enjoying quality time with the fruits of your labor.
Leaving the progeny and/or friends with wisdom.
The last breath escaping signals death, stopping the clock.
What time is it for you?
So beautiful!

Every time I groan about how old I am, I remind myself that it ain’t over till it’s over. Everyday can be an adventure, an open door to opportunities, new things to learn, enjoy 🙂

Absolutely! I feel the cliche of “You’re only as young as you feel” also holds true. If your mind stays young, the adventures will follow. 🙂
