Inspired by Sadje’s What do you see #181
here in the darkness
the comfort of silence
gives me respite
moments of discomfort
turn to hours, turn to days
the echo of my own thoughts
my best companion
wrapped up securely from harm
surrounded by nature
ease settles in my bones
eventually
i will find my way back
Lovely take, Susi.

I think we all need to take a moment to soak in the peace in nature and to re-center ourselves… love this poem!

A gray take Susi. Solitude is sometimes what we need to figure out where to go next. Thanks for joining in.

Definitely, it slows things down so we can make sense of it all. Always a pleasure, Sadje!

Sometimes, when the world around us seems too loud, or too chaotic, it’s the quietness of our own thoughts that can bring comfort. And being surrounded by nature adds to the sense of peace and security. Your words remind us that even in the darkest of moments, there is a way back to the light. 👍👏👌😊
