the ethereal substance of goodness
eludes those whose greed
dominates their life’s ambitions
wreckless disregard
sabotages the beauty they believe they gain
it’s worthless in the scheme of living
life is to be lived nobly
beware, anything gained dishonorably is nothing of substance
commandeering the world around us leaves one with nothing
