This is in an insanely clever pairing. I like the picture with the poem, it makes me think of discovering something lost to fire, and suggest the meditative process of looking over found items recovered from a fire. My house burned down years ago. Thank you for posting this. It was very peaceful and meditative. I really enjoyed it.
Oh, wow! I’m glad it made you feel peaceful and meditative. I can’t imaging the devastation of such loss. Thank you for stopping by and commenting, Damien!
Thank you for the kind words, it was very surreal, but I am coming to terms with everything I have been remembering recently. I like this piece in particular because it helped me do this, remember hard things I used to drink/get high to forget in a peaceful meditative way, you really helped me. I have been having a tough time today.
Oh wow… so true!

Ah the great mystery of love, ever the uncertainty, even when you think you have it. Wonderful poem Susi.

Beautiful expression, Susi. Love is always present everywhere, in all its forms, but our perception makes it elusive. My opinion may be wrong.

Elusive – good description. Some chase love and others wait for love to find them…
