Most Friendships are performance with cracks through which actual sentiment leaks. Sarcasm is one of the tells.

I wouldn’t call those friendships but rather acquaintances. Real friends don’t do that with an intention to harm.

Sometimes some of us are too dense to realize that what we meant without malice, comes across with malice. We don’t always know where the trigger points are. I accidentally tripped one on a different blog with what I thought was a flattering and innocent comment.
