Complications

snip and tuck
here and there

aligning the mind’s image
to public presentation

advances have been made
yet worry arises

as a dilemma presents
in the aftermath

love surrounds
and concern abounds

all hover with care
for best outcomes

right actions secured
the worst scenario averted

then home for attentiveness and recovery
in pain but so much more at ease

slow and steady progress continues
bucket list item checked off

      1. I don’t know why, but I see more in it 😀 because many surgeries are not easy, so the patient can be happy if the surgery is succesful, but also the doctors have to be careful each time not to do a mistake, so it is not relaxing for anyone.

    1. This was actually about my son’s complications. And he actually suggested to write about it since I needed a topic for a post. On Monday, he had surgery and we had a small hiccup (remedied swiftly), but he seems to be bouncing back quite well now. I was staying with him to help with his recovery but am already back home. He and his roommate should be able to handle it from here. Thank you so much for your concern, Eugenia! ❤
