i watched the sun
slowly fade away
and everything around me
began to take on a dark hue

i experienced a sinking feeling
my body caving in on itself
the depression dragging me down

i yelled into the void
but no one could hear me

i couldn’t save myself

    1. Indeed. Yes, I would agree with you. From what little research I’ve done as well as personal experience I’ve had with depression, it is astounding to me how many actually can relate. It’s pervasive, and seems to be getting worse. :_(
