Inspired by Reena’s Exploration Challenge #227 & Eugenia’s Weekly Prompt – Dewdrops
hustle and bustle
their next stop on their minds
mindlessly plodding each next step
beware of collisions!
auto or man
the hectic encountered here
is nothing like dewdrops on blades of grass
remaining stationery
or slow and lazily falling wherever
Excellent work

Good one ☺️ I like how you incorporated dewdrops with the words ‘nothing like’.

Isn’t that the truth people are always in a hurry to get to their destination. It’s unfortunate they don’t take time to enjoy their journey. I love your comparison of a hurried life to dewdrops glistening on blades of grass, which you so beautifully describe. Nature amazes with her simplistic beauty.

Thanks, Eugenia! While I slow down naturally with aging, I see how I was always in the hurry when I was younger. Glad it’s gotten quieter and more relaxed. Appreciate your thoughts, dear. 🙂

I was always in a hurry too, Susi. I’ve slowed down as I got older.
