Inspired by Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie Saturday Mix & Sadje’s What do you see #102
in my youthful mind
before responsibility aged me
dreams of rich discovery carried me over mountain tops
in the direction of promising golden rays of fortune
the thrill of adventure hastening all my steps
but with a scowl i realized i was out of steam
leaving me motionless and stranded
in the middle of life
Many of the dreams of my youth are still but a dream. Never mind!
Here’s mine!

Mine too but it’s like they evolved to something else. It’s all good!

Love the imagery (even without the picture). An apt description of life – sometimes it is “go, go, go” and other times we are at a standstill. The key is being able to appreciate the moments of calm amid the race to get ahead.
