dried out and shriveled as raisins
or destined to be mashed into wine
what will we deliver to the masses
hearty and substantive
or delivering fleeting joy
production depends on the conditions
yet the outcomes
remain the same
harvesting is a way of life
Either or and a little of both! I like that one item can generate 2 completely different products and that your poem distills that idea so easily!

I like how you combine the idea of harvest and life, with our musings about our purpose. Very well done and in such a short space you say so much which I know is the goal – you succeeded

Perhaps I should submit to myself! ๐ Thank you, Candy. I’m glad you extracted that as it was a metaphor for life. โค
