subjecting ourselves
to scream-producing eerie things
vile and sick things
or revolting and heave-inducing things
wanting fear to take over
allowing ourselves to be unnerved
a freakish desire for jolts to our nervous system
…what is wrong with us or rather, you?

I can’t handle any of it. Don’t get it.

I was watching a preview of a game show and suddenly a tarantula crawled out of a woman’s mouth. I about gagged. Normally, I can handle the weird stuff but spiders are not one of them.

My reaction exactly! LOL Ok, I’ll admit, a bit of nausea too.

I go with the credo “Never pay to be tortured” thus horror movies and carnival rides are not on my list of fun activities!

Yeah, I’m not a big fan of intentional torture like slasher movies but for some reason I do get drawn into true crime things. I think it’s the researcher in me who wants to solve it. Yeah, carnival rides are definitely not my bag anymore. I’d be hurling every time!

I have a pretty high tolerance for things but there’s a line, definitely.
