Politics

the stench of foulness emanates
from the building of the people
every utterance witnessed
feels like diabolical chicanery
the detriment evident to those they claim to represent

we the people need to rise to the occasion
remove the blatant unseemly behaviors
replace dishonesty and deceit
restore the ethics of governing
we the people deserve honorable service

PLEASE VOTE FOR INTEGRITY THIS AND EVERY ELECTION CYCLE

  1. Thank you for spreading the word.
I’m hoping Missouri’s COVID positivity rate drops low enough for me to travel in early November. (NY & Ohio have MO on their travel-ban lists.) That’s looking less likely, as it continues to rise, and I lay the blame directly on the shoulders of Trump & Parson (our governor, a by-the-book Trumper).
Anyway, I voted absentee, just in case. Much to my surprise, I didn’t have to mail it. The county hall has a machine for absentees. If the travel option hadn’t presented itself, I would have voted on election day. I may have faith in the post office, but I expect court challenges for mail-in ballots – a perfect example of that diabolical chicanery.

    1. ❤ Absolutely! We all need to do our part!! Things MUST change or things will not end well, I fear. I agree, the current administration and any leadership who aligns with it, mismanaged and mishandled this pandemic.

I got my ballot today! Looking forward to dropping that off today. I am hoping that it all goes smoothly. 🙂

  2. Well stated Susi. We need to show them that we’ll no longer tolerate their self indulgent greed. The power is in our hands, cast your vote. It must be a landslide so they will understand this is more than a slap on the hand.
