Reblog – Achromatic Existence by Christine Bolton

This piece gave me all the feels, way down deep! It’s a rich visual even though it’s a black and white statement, so to speak. Enjoy!

Achromatic Existence

Your blackness
sullies my clear mind
My whiteness dilutes
your darkness
to a neutral grey
Clinging to
a colorless world
that has become
the oxygen
we breathe
into this dysfunctional
An anemic sadness
void of pigment
Trust severed
like an amputated
albinistic limb
Limping through an
achromatic existence
