I’d like to challenge any person who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks!
This past weekend my husband and I did exactly that, plus we were bored. He taught me something I didn’t know anything about – the strings on the guitar – and I taught him what I knew about cinquains. Fellow poets know there are lots of different types with varied rules so I just laid out the rules to him of what I generally follow. And here’s what he came up with. Not so bad, first time out of the gate! π
neptune
feared, icy, cold
thunderously roaring
ocean’s ruler, tremendous blue
planet
Bravo!! Pat on the back and ask to see his next one – Tomorrow!! Ha!
