the consequences of living
in the path
of its inhabitants
a reaction ensues
what will it be…
compassion?
schadenfreude?
action?
indifference?
those who are gauche
spew an urge
to oppugn
with their splenetic
reaction
their attempts
to bifurcate
the attentive passersby
is thankfully
limited
attention garnered
by the few impressed
while the majority
dismiss them
as reason holds
… and the sensible go on
