Filling Up On Peace

Untitled

Feeling no one near, experiencing spacious aloneness.
It’s the satisfying smell of solitude.

Such clarity manifests in the quiet
while the static cling and edges of life drop away.

Your unique energy finds home in the calm of your surroundings.
The serene settling into your skin.

It’s a rich serving of voluminous freedom.
You are so deserving of it.

Close the door on the thieves who empty you.
Banish them, saving yourself is most relevant.

Escape to the place where
you can feel sane and experience peace.

Stay in tranquility as long as you can.
Gain strength, build a reserve.

Your existence will be calling you soon enough.

  1. Lovely. I sense amphibians in the pristine stream. Seems timely since this mornings news announced the re-introduction of the red-legged frog into Yosemite National Park. The red-legged frog is the famous Jumping Frog of Calaveras County by Mark Twain.

    1. Yes, I believe you’re probably right, Pat. I’m a beach person but the forest and all that is green is incredibly inviting. I always find this type of peace and serenity is a place where my heart/soul/essence can truly unwind. Thank you for that info about the red-legged frog! 🙂
