  1. Ha ha brilliant, reminds me of an advert they used to run here about the Odd Married couple – they must have spent thousands on producing three minutes of commercialise content when your ten words say it all! Nicely done.

    1. Depressing but true! You touched on key elements of the dysfunction which leads to the division. I thought it was rather thoughtful, Linda. Glad you enjoyed my contribution to the conversation. πŸ™‚

  2. Sooo sad. The pain of avoiding the truth and living in toleration. I have tried toleration and truth. Get things out at least once a week, or it will eat you up. We have only so many heartbeats.

      1. You are a very thoughtful person Susi. Pain is a detriment to health and longevity. The accumulation of cortisol does only harm. Depression is also a common result of constant negative stress.

I guess would have found the humor I read from some commenters, should I have not lived this for 15 years myself. I am lucky to have inherited strong genes and the resilience that came with them. At 74, I am still strong of mind and compassionate. You sound like you have had a few interludes of stress and unhappiness yourself. I found that toleration is a mean culprit in undermining joy.

      2. Thank you, Von. I would agree with you whole-heartedly! I’m sorry to hear that you were trapped in these feelings for such an extended period of time. But glad you are doing well now. Yes, I don’t think or even know of anyone who has escaped periods like this. This is life. Thankfully, I’m at a place in my life where I do combat stress head-on. At 56, life is getting shorter for me, so I want to enjoy it as much as possible! Our best weapon is to decide that we don’t want that kind of life for ourselves. πŸ™‚
