To me, the question becomes … what is maturity?

For me, I would say it’s learning from life experiences. There is a lesson in every aspect of it and maturity is when your life doesn’t become unmanageable even when there is adversity. The foundation of experience gives us coping skills and reason to maneuver it better.

I say yes and thinking more in terms of respect. We can be silly and have fun with our friends but we should have respect and be sincere with friends. True friends are hard to come by.

Absolutely! But maybe maturity isn’t a factor in our youth because we’re on the same playing field?

I don’t think so. Childhood friends are probably the best friends & children are not mature individuals off course.

Right, at that stage there are different bonds but I guess I ask that question as to when we develop friendships at older stages.
