I can’t help you resolve it all.
But I’ll do what you can’t.
Until you’re stronger,
I’ve got you.
I’ll do my best.
Please do the same.
What hurts you,
injures me too.
Let’s work together.
Then tomorrow it will be easier.
For the both of us.
I can’t help you resolve it all.
But I’ll do what you can’t.
Until you’re stronger,
I’ve got you.
I’ll do my best.
Please do the same.
What hurts you,
injures me too.
Let’s work together.
Then tomorrow it will be easier.
For the both of us.

Thoughtful poem Susi!
I learned to distance myself from fleeting “friends”, before I was too forgiving although I was blunt at most times, but I realize there are a lot who abuses your sincerity.

Unfortunately, there are many on our journey who do abuse our sincerity. I’m glad you have distanced yourself from those who would abuse you. Thank you for your kind words, Onie!

This is another great piece. It is what friends and family do is lean on and take care of each other.
