I’ve been nominated for the 3 Days Quotes Challenge by Natasha Tungare. Thank you for the opportunity to share the wisdom of others who have inspired me! 🙂
Rules for the challenge are –
1. Thank the person who has nominated you for the challenge.
2. Post 3 quotes (1 for each day) for 3 days consecutively.
3. Nominate three more bloggers for the same challenge each day.
The theme I’d like to focus on during this challenge is TRUTH. To me, this is one of the most important aspects of life – do we seek it, do we have it and do we live it.
I hope you enjoy the selection of thinkers I found who had wonderful things to say on the subject.
Today’s quote
If you should find anything better in human life than justice, truth, self-control, courage, and, in a word, your mind’s contentment with itself in those things which it empowers you to practice in accordance with Reason, and to be contented with what has been allotted to you without any choice – if, I say, you see anything better than this, then with all your heart turn to it and take pleasaure in that which you have discovered to be best of all.
Marcus Aurelius
All THIS! I have yet to find something better than truth but if it exists, by all means, go in that direction. When we experience or willfully choose the pursuit of truth in all its forms – in our education, new discoveries, as a function in our relationships – all of them – with a commitment to honesty; we have chosen a path of quality.
Here’s to your good life! 🙂
